You pay a low, fixed monthly fee for the solar service, similar to a utility bill but at a significantly lower rate. Trio Solar handles the system design, installation, permits, 24/7 monitoring, and ongoing maintenance at zero extra cost to you.
With a solar subscription (lease/PPA), Trio Solar owns, maintains, and guarantees the performance of the system while you pay a predictable monthly fee to save on your energy bills. With custom solar purchase (cash or loan), you own the system, are responsible for long-term maintenance, but you get to claim incentives like the 30% federal solar tax credit (ITC) and increase your home equity directly.
For our Subscription and Flex plans, Trio Solar is 100% responsible for all maintenance, system monitoring, repairs, and performance guarantees for the entire duration of the agreement (typically 25 years). If something goes wrong, we fix it at no cost to you. For owned systems, we provide comprehensive initial warranties, but long-term upkeep is managed by the homeowner.
